About Mera Yuva Bharat

MY Bharat is a national platform established by the Department of Youth Affairs, Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India. It lets students explore volunteering and experiential learning opportunities, connect with mentors and peer organisations, build skills through leadership programmes, and earn digital recognition for verified participation.

  1. Visit the official website

    Open your browser and go to the official MY Bharat portal at https://mybharat.gov.in/. Only use this address — avoid third-party links.

  2. Start the registration

    On the homepage, click Register Now (or Sign In if you already have an account). When prompted for your category, be sure to select Youth or Student.

  3. Verify with OTP

    The portal sends a One-Time Password (OTP) to the mobile number and/or email address you provide. Enter the OTP in the verification field to confirm your contact details before continuing.

  4. Enter your initial details

    Fill in your fundamental information:

    • Full Name — exactly as it appears on your official documents
    • Active Mobile Number
    • Email Address
    • Other basic information as requested
    • Under "further information," enter NSS or NCC if applicable, or select Others

  5. Select your affiliation to HSNC University Crucial step

    Once your profile is created, begin entering your education details. In the Institute Type field choose University, then in the University Name search box, type and select:

    This ensures your registration is correctly linked to HSNC University. You may also be asked for your college name and student/unique identifier ID at this stage.

  6. Complete your profile & registration

    Fill in the remaining details required, which may include:

    • Detailed academic information (course, year/semester, etc.)
    • Personal details and address
    • Any required documents, if prompted for upload

    Review everything and click Save.
