Ms. Sakshi Pandey

A dedicated Philomath, Ms. Sakshi Pandey started her academic journey with B.A.LL.B. (Hons.) from DAVV University, Indore, where she excelled as a university topper and gold medallist for the batch of 2012-2017. She gained an L.L.M Degree from NALSAR University of Law, Hyderabad, in Corporate and Commercial Laws. She is UGC NET qualified and is currently pursuing a Ph.D. from Presidency University, Bengaluru on Corporate Criminal Liability in Environmental Crimes.

Ms. Pandey has over five years of teaching and industry experience and her research endeavours are oriented in the emerging fields of Environmental Law particularly Green Criminology, Sustainable Development Law and Environmental Justice. Her research has made notable contributions to the field, including presenting a paper at the International Conference on ‘Harmful Practices Related to Accusations of Witchcraft and Ritual Attacks’, organized by REVA University, Bengaluru, in collaboration with The Staffordshire Law School, UK, and contributing a chapter to the book ‘Global Thoughts and Opinions’, edited by Hon’ble Justice A.K. Sikri and Prof. Dr. N.K. Chakrabarti. Ms. Pandey is committed to providing legal aid through pro bono work, having established a Pro Bono Club at her previous organization in collaboration with the Ministry of Law and Justice, where she organized ‘Jan Sunawai’ events, conducted surveys, and offered legal assistance to individuals.  Her dedication to social justice continues at D.M. Harish School of Law, where she serves as the faculty coordinator for the Legal Aid Cell.
