Mr. Bhanu Advani

Mr. Bhanu Advani has been working as an Assistant Professor in Law at D.M. Harish School of Law since its inception in September 2021. He holds a B. Com Degree from the University of Commerce College, Jaipur, an LL.B. from G.J. Advani Law College, and an LL.M. in Corporate Laws from Kirit P. Mehta School of Law, NMIMS.

In his academic career, Mr. Advani has taught a wide array of subjects including Law of Torts including MV Accident and Consumer Protection Laws, Law of Contract and Special Contract, Professional Ethics and Professional Accounting System (Clinical), Code of Civil Procedure and Limitation Act, Family Law I & II; and Alternative Dispute Resolution (Clinical).

Additionally, he has served as the Admission Head In-Charge for the past two years and is actively involved in extracurricular activities. He is the faculty coordinator for the Moot Court Committee and the Sports Committee and represents the Placement Cell at the HSNC University level. He also plays a key role as a member of the Board of Studies (Law).

Mr. Advani’s contributions to the legal community have been recognized with a Scroll of Honour from Smt. Pratibha Devisingh Patil, the Former President of India, for his exemplary work with the International Council of Jurists, All India Bar Association and Maharashtra State Commission for Women.

Before his academic career, he gained practical experience through internships with Senior Advocate Mr. Mahesh Jethmalani and BNG Legal, where he represented clients in national and international trademark matters. He also has a background in journalism, having worked with Network 18 and completed a certificate course in Journalism from St. Paul’s Institute of Communication Education (SPICE).
