Dr. Krittika Mondal

Dr Krittika Mondal is an Assistant Professor of Performing Arts and the Coordinator of the School of Performing Arts, and Chellaram School of Yoga and Wellness at HSNC University, Mumbai. She was conferred her Doctoral Degree by Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi for her thesis ‘Illegitimate Children: Choreographing Young Bodies in Gotipua’, and has a Master’s Degree in English Literature from EFLU, Hyderabad.
Dr. Mondal teaches a wide range of subjects including Drama and Theatre Studies, Odissi Dance, Communication and Writing Skills, Art Criticism, and Research Methodology. Her major interests are the history of myriad performance forms, the politics of legacy and
tradition, and the evolving and emerging trends in performing arts. She is also a professional Odissi dancer and singer.
