Ms. Gauri Sarangdhar

Ms. Gauri Nandkumar Sarangdhar completed her Bachelor’s degree in Political Science (Major) from Ramnarain Ruia College, Mumbai and her Master’s degree in Political Science with specialization in International Relations (Hons.) from the Department of Civics and Politics, University of Mumbai. Ms. Sarangdhar has been a class topper with over three years of teaching experience in both degree as well as law colleges and research experience of two years.

Ms. Sarangdhar qualified SET (Maharashtra and Goa) in 2018, UGC NET in Political Science in 2019 and UGC NET in Politics including International Relations in 2022, and was one of the toppers in her course. She has also completed a Post-Graduate Diploma in Security Studies from the University of Mumbai and a Post-Graduate Diploma in Women and Gender Studies from Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU). Ms. Saranghdhar has additionally acquired training up to Advanced Diploma in Urdu from Hindustani Prachar Sabha, Mumbai (Level I TO III) and in Persian from University of Mumbai.

She has worked with SNDT Women’s College, Churchgate (2019), KES Law College, Kandivli, Mumbai (2021-2022), Centre for Distance Education (CDOE), SNDT Women’s College (2021), Juhu Campus, MKES College of Law, Malad (2024). She also worked as a full-time Research Scholar at the Department of International Relations and Governance Studies (IRGS) at Shiv Nadar Institute of Eminence (SNIoE), Noida from September 2022 to February 2024. Ms. Sarangdhar has also participated in several national and international conferences, and seminars and has papers and chapters to her credit including ‘Kautilya’s Thoughts on the State & Good Governance’ in the book ‘Good Governance – Principles & Practice’ 25th December 2021; Aadhar Publication; ISBN- 978-93-91305-78-9.

Her area of interest lies in Gender and Security Studies, Modern Political Thought, International Relations and Language Politics.
