Dr. Rajesh Mankani

Head of Department, Niranjan Hiranandani School of Management & Real Estate

hails from a corporate background and brings with him 20 years of rich practical corporate experience, both, in India as well as abroad and currently is into full time academics. He is currently engaged with Niranjan Hiranandani School of Management & Real Estate, HSNC University as Academic Head & is also Associate Dean – Commerce & Management, HSNC University. He specializes in teaching General Management subjects like Human Resource Management, Performance Management & Career Planning, Leadership & Managerial Effectiveness, Training & Development Management, Business Ethics & Corporate
Governance, Entrepreneurship Development, Productivity & Total Quality Management, Organization Behavior, at UG & PG levels. He has written and published more than 68 research papers which have been published in peer-reviewed national, international, UGC-CARE listed approved research journals & also SCOPUS indexed journals and has also attended and been part of a number of national and international seminars and conferences. He has also authored six books on various subjects for UG students. Dr. Mankani has completed his graduation in Commerce and has also done a double graduation in Law and is a qualified lawyer. He has done his MBA in HR and has been a university rank holder. He has cleared UGC-NET & UGC-SET exams and has done his PhD in Management. He is currently a research guide as well and has successfully guided ten PhD scholars who have completed their PhDs under him & is heading the PhD research center for Commerce & Management faculties at Niranjan Hiranandani School of Management & Real Estate, HSNC University.

Shailaja. J. Rane

Academic Head, Dept. of Data Science and Business Analytics, School of Applied Sciences

Ms Shailaja Rane received her Bachelor’s Degree in Statistics and Computer Programming and a Master’s Degree in Statistics from Mumbai University. She additionally has a Master’s degree in Web Designing and E Commerce from Indus Institute, Mumbai. She is a certified python programmer, certified in R Programming and Tableau. Ms Shailaja Rane has nine research publications/ paper presentations covering topics like polycystic ovarian syndrome, consumption of alcohol and hookah smoking among the youth of Mumbai, a qualitative analysis of breast cancer awareness in urban Indian society, co-relation of PCOS with lifestyle habits, prevalence of polycystic ovary syndrome among women in Mumbai and association of its symptoms with work hours, the inter-relationship of PCOS with BMI, obesity, and exercise. She has also written, presented and published on aspect of tourism, like sustainability, as well as a statistical analysis of sustainable tourism. Shailaja Rane has been involved in eleven research projects, including as Guide. Her primary research interest includes medical statistics, operations research, designs of experiments and Survival Analysis.

Prof. Leena Pujari

Academic Head, Liberal Studies

Dr. Leena Pujari is Dean, Faculty of Interdisciplinary Studies & Academic Head, Liberal Studies. She believes in teaching for social transformation and in nurturing critical and analytical minds. Her research interests include Development studies, Legal Studies and Gender Studies, in particular issues of feminist pedagogy, feminist resistance and feminist jurisprudence. She is on the Advisory Group of a transnational research project of the University of Westminster UK on ‘Decolonising Sexual and Gender Based Violence in Higher Education: Innovations in Theory, Policy and Practice’. She is also a Senior Visiting Fellow (honorary) at the leading policy think tank IMPRI, New Delhi. She is the National Convener of one of the Research Committees of Indian Sociological Society. She is an avid researcher and has researched on tribal women in Odisha, child rights in Mumbai and New Zealand, role of WDCs and ICs in fostering gender sensitive campuses in Mumbai colleges and led a team of researchers’ on a UNFPA funded consultative and collaborative research project with Population First on major media houses in Mumbai and their gender sensitive components. She has several research publications in reputed national and international journals such as Sage and Economic and Political Weekly. She has chapters in books published by Taylor and Francis and Springer.
